A testimonial from a Skintrium user
Dark patches of hyperpigmentation initially appeared on my face 20 years ago. With no family history of this malady, I turned to the medical profession. The original diagnosis was age spots. However, as the condition spread across my face and increased in severity, medical professionals referred to the severe hyperpigmentation as MELASMA.
I have gone to general practitioners, dermatologist and plastic surgeons across the United States regarding my facial hyperpigmentation. In conjunction with applying crème applications at home and in-office treatments, I endured light chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and silk peels, the Obagi system, Hydroquinone, Retinoid Creams (Retin A Micro) and Tri Luma to name a few. I purchased other products from retail stores and ordered products that appeared promising from around the world. I purchased books to learn more about skin discoloration and searched the internet for a possible break through.
Over the years, I have tried internal regimens of MSM, Vitamin C, Glutathione Reduced, Aloe Vera Juice, Diatomaceous Earth and Grapefruit Seed Extract. Although I diligently applied sunscreens that I have researched as being the most effective that range from SPF 30 to 50 daily, nothing worked to remove the discoloration from my face and skin darkening that now began increasing on my hands and forearms in the hot Texas sun. When having a pedicure, I was told that my legs and feet (much lighter in color) appeared to belong to a different body.
About a year ago, I read all of the fine print that accompanied my high blood pressure medication that I had taken for 20 years. It stated that my particular medication increased the skin’s sun sensitivity. I always listed my medications on medical forms. Had it been overlooked in my diagnosis? I immediately requested my primary care physician change my blood pressure medication. I continued to use my broad spectrum, SPF 50 sunscreen and limit my exposure to the sun. The existing hyperpigmentation remained.
I had read about Sepiwhite MSH in the Skin Lightening Report that I purchased in 2007. Perhaps I had requested being placed on an e-mail list, but products with this ingredient came to my attention from Skintrium.com around March 2013. I purchased the Esthetic Blend Face Whitening Moisturizer for my face. Remarkably, within three days my facial discoloration began to lighten. After 20 years, this is the only product that I’ve ever used externally or internally that has given me the results I desired. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars to improve my skin. I am consumed with joy and appreciation that I have finally found such a remarkable product. Thank you so very much.
